With a strong industrial base in automotive, food processing and construction, Romanian employers face a structural shortage of blue-collar and technical talent — and Indian workers have earned a strong reputation for reliability and skill.</p><h2>In-demand roles</h2><p>Welders, CNC operators, electricians, forklift drivers, kitchen helpers, hotel staff, packers, warehouse operatives and construction supervisors are hired in bulk almost every month.</p><h2>Typical package</h2><p>Salaries range from €700 to €1,600 net per month depending on the trade, with free accommodation, work uniforms and often meals included. Overtime is paid and regulated.</p><h2>Path to residency</h2><p>After 5 years of legal residence, workers may apply for long-term EU residency, which opens mobility across the block.</p>
